Bring water (please do not bring fizzy drinks to training).
Conduct themselves in a respectful manner and show respect to the instructor and other students.
Not use bad, abusive or threatening language.
Use self-control at all times and maintain all care in the application of any technique. At no time is a student to engage in unnecessary roughness.
Not exhibit behaviour that, in the judgement of the Instructor, is a danger to other participants. The child shall not be allowed to continue training until the Instructor determines the danger is no longer present.
Not disrupt the class.
Not sexually harass any person (defined as being where a person is subjected to unwanted or uninvited sexual behaviour). This behaviour will not be tolerated.
Not discriminate against anyone based on sex, ethnic origin, language, colour, or other form of differentiation. This will not be tolerated.
Wear suitable clothing. We do not allow clothing with offensive images or inappropriate advertising.
Not wear jewellery or watches during training.
Not train if they are suffering from Influenza or any other viral infection that may be passed on to other persons.
Stop training if they have a cut or bleeding injury and must obtain appropriate first aid. Rejoining the training session will not be allowed until the instructor has deemed that is safe to do so.
Do their best and have fun!
Any student who fails to abide by the rules of InDefence may be dismissed by InDefence.
Disciplinary Actions We require that you inform your child/children of the following disciplinary actions should they be disruptive in class:
Be asked to stand to the side and watch the class for a short period of time.
They will be required to do some form of power exercise for between 1-2 minutes (frog jumps, sit ups etc).
They will be required to hold a stress position such as a bridge or squat against the wall.
Parents will be asked to remove their child from the class. If this conduct continues in the following class, the child will be removed from the classes permanently.
